About Us

School Life

We want our students to look back at the time they spent at Lancers and feel proud of their achievements. Good school life isn’t only about being academically strong, but it’s also about feeling that you are cared for and encouraged to pursue different interests and hobbies.

This is why, at Lancers, we make sure to create a supportive environment for all our students. We have a team of dedicated teachers and staff who are always ready to help out our students, both inside and outside the classroom.
At Lancers, our students are motivated to be independent thinkers with deep interests in areas such as art, music, sports, leadership development, and theatre, among others. We believe it’s this perfect mix of intellectual and creative stimulation which makes our students more well-rounded, successful and interesting individuals.

With an incomparable history of 50 years, Lancers is a school like no other. Where many focus on examination results and view league table position as the main criterion for success, the whole ethos of Lancers is focused on each and every individual who passes through their gates. They aim to inspire and support students so they can become the very best they can be in every single way. By helping them become happy and fully-rounded young men and women examination grades naturally follow, as their outstanding IB results clearly prove.

But what is it that makes Lancers so unique?

Firstly, the school’s size is perfect – not too large and not too small. With a connected community, everyone really does know each other well which creates a strong sense of community. Class sizes are smaller than average which means teachers can give each student the attention they need to thrive.

Then there’s the incredible range of facilities and resources at Lancers, which are second-to-none. From state-of-the-art music halls and sports facilities to an indoor swimming pool, a theatre and a dance studio, there really is something for everyone.

But, most importantly of all, Lancers is a happy place that is filled with positivity and encouragement. The teachers are passionate about their subjects and go the extra mile to ensure each student achieves their potential. There’s a real focus on developing the whole person – not just academically but also emotionally, socially and spiritually. This means that students leave Lancers not just as great scholars but also as kind, confident and tolerant young adults who are ready to take on the world.
