Christmas Celebrations at LANCERS
At Lancers International School, celebrating Christmas is joyous and an uplifting occasion. As the school is a happy place for children, Lancers organized a Carnival this year on 21 st of December, 2019 with the joint efforts of students, parents and teaching faculties. The preparation started two weeks prior to the Carnival event by decorating the Christmas tree with shiny balls and flashy lights, making Christmas art pieces/ wall hangings for the purpose of enhancing the school foyer. The carnival was a display of creative thinking, leadership skills and teamwork spirit. Through this event, parents and students connected with others and tiny tots got a chance to enjoy rides and other secret Santa games. There were various food stalls at the carnival having bakery items such as Christmas pudding and fruit cakes.Besides this, there were various book stalls at the carnival having good collection of fiction, non-fiction,mystery, humour, travel books and comics.With the “We Wish you a Merry Christmas” sung by middle school students, the event maintained the traditional Christian message of the joy of Christmas. Lancers School is a community school serving children from a range of faith backgrounds.
