Indian Vocals Club
People who are fond of Indian classical music love to enjoy their favorite artists perform live or watch their videos. We also like to mimic them or try to do perform like them. And on top of it, we all want to share our vocal talents before friends and family. The Indian Vocals Club helps students ‘find their voice’; develop stage presence; build confidence; and, most all, make new friends.
Filled with energy and vitality, this club helps students release the stress of academics. It also channelizes all their creative energy into music they create using their own voices.
MUN (Model United Nations)
The initial response to the program was that of hesitation as most students were not aware of this concept of Model United Nations. Initially, students were hesitant to step into an unknown territory.
However, once informed, students started pouring in. We have few students from throughout the school who are getting started into the world of debates and discussions following the format of MUN. This is a forum where students form a mock parliament representing different UN committees.
Students discuss relevant issues while representing different countries, and, based on the discussions, laws are formed. This forum generates leadership skills and critical thinking on issues that range from terrorism and nuclear deals to women’s rights, child labor and many more.
The club even took a group of students to the Harvard MUN Conference, to DIAMUN in Dubai and Agra MUN. The students used the knowledge acquired in the club into practicals. It was a big step towards becoming the leaders of tomorrow making it one of the best schools in Gurgaon.
