At Lancers International School, international exposure is an integral part of the learning experience. We believe students grow when they are given opportunities to engage with diverse cultures, exchange ideas with peers from around the world, and challenge themselves in environments beyond the classroom.
Our participation in the World Scholar’s Cup Bangkok 2026 is a reflection of this approach. Bringing together young scholars from across the globe, the Bangkok Round gave our students a platform to test their knowledge, critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration skills while engaging with a diverse international community.
For Lancers students, the experience was as much about learning from the world as it was about representing their school and country.
Excellence on the Global Stage
The Bangkok Round resulted in an outstanding collection of achievements for our students, with a remarkable haul of medals and trophies across individual and team categories.
Among the highlights were a 15th Place Overall Champion Individual Trophy, alongside 14 medals, including 13 Gold and 1 Silver, as well as an Overall Champions Team Trophy in 14th position.
Another exceptional achievement came in the Debate Showcase, where Arjun Sheth of Grade 8 was the only student representing India selected for this prestigious segment. Arjun went on to secure the First Position Winner’s Trophy in Individual Debate, along with six Gold medals, while the Lancers team also secured the Team Debate Trophy in 8th position.
The wider delegation delivered consistently strong performances across the competition, with students securing 88 medals across individual categories, including several impressive combinations of Gold and Silver medals. The achievements spanned both the Junior and Senior Divisions, reflecting the breadth of talent and preparation within the Lancers delegation.
Beyond Medals and Trophies
While these achievements are a source of immense pride, the significance of international opportunities extends far beyond the results.
Participating in a global forum places students in situations where they interact with people from different backgrounds, encounter new perspectives, and learn to communicate and collaborate across cultures. They learn to adapt to unfamiliar environments, think independently, contribute to teams and approach challenges with confidence.
These are experiences that cannot always be replicated within the four walls of a classroom.
At Lancers, international exposure is therefore not viewed simply as an opportunity to travel. It is an opportunity to learn through experience, build cultural understanding and develop the confidence to participate in a global community.
Creating Global Citizens
As an international school, Lancers is committed to creating opportunities that enable students to engage with the world around them. Academic forums, international competitions, cultural exchanges and global collaborations provide students with different avenues to discover their strengths and develop new ones.
The World Scholar’s Cup Bangkok 2026 experience brought this vision to life. Our students returned with medals and trophies, but also with new friendships, broader perspectives, greater confidence and memories of learning alongside students from around the world.
Their achievements demonstrate what can happen when young learners are given the opportunity to step beyond familiar boundaries and challenge themselves on a global platform.
At Lancers International School, we continue to create pathways that encourage our students to explore, connect, collaborate and excel beyond borders.
Because global learning is not only about seeing the world. It is about developing the confidence, curiosity and understanding to become an active part of it.
