By bringing <strong>lacrosse in school<\/strong> to the forefront, Lancers is not just expanding its sports curriculum \u2014 it\u2019s pioneering a new athletic experience in India.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>To give students firsthand exposure, the school organized a <strong>Demonstration Match<\/strong> in collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lacrosseharyana.com\/\"><strong>Lacrosse Association of Haryana<\/strong><\/a>, allowing them to experience the excitement, teamwork, and technique of this fast-paced global game up close. What unfolded that day was far more than just a sporting event; it was a reflection of Lancers\u2019 enduring vision \u2014 to reimagine the athletic landscape of India through innovation and inclusivity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>For many in attendance, the sight of lacrosse sticks clashing mid-air and the swift movement of players across the turf was an entirely new experience. The event was thoughtfully designed to introduce <strong>Lacrosse in India<\/strong> \u2014 familiarizing students with the rules, rhythm, and spirit of a sport that blends speed, strategy, and teamwork like no other.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Two visiting student teams \u2014 <strong>Team Jind<\/strong> and <strong>Team Rohtak<\/strong> \u2014 took to the field in an exhilarating display of skill and coordination that showcased both the athleticism and discipline lacrosse demands. Team Jind featured talented players such as <strong>Ashish Goyat (Captain)<\/strong>, selected to represent India at the upcoming <strong>Asian Lacrosse Games<\/strong> in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (November 17\u201322, 2025), alongside <strong>Vice-Captain Nitin Balda<\/strong>, <strong>Goalkeeper Vinit<\/strong>, and other national and state-level players including <strong>Devvart Shahu, Angad Lohan, Tanvir, Chirag Chahal<\/strong>, and <strong>Uday<\/strong>. The team was guided by <strong>Coach Mandeep Sheokand<\/strong>, under the supervision of officials <strong>Mr. Ravinder Kumar<\/strong>, <strong>Ms. Khushboo Malik<\/strong> (also selected for the Indian team for the Asian Games), and <strong>Mr. Nishant Indora<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Their opponents, <strong>Team Rohtak<\/strong>, brought equal energy and sportsmanship to the field, represented by national and state-level athletes such as <strong>Sahil, Sushant, Ashwini, Samrat, Sanskar, Ansh, Vansh<\/strong>, and <strong>Saim<\/strong>, led by <strong>Coach Manish Kumar<\/strong>, General Secretary, District Rohtak.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The match evolved into a thrilling showcase of <strong>lacrosse in India<\/strong> \u2014 a game that captivated everyone present through its precision, teamwork, and spirit of competition. Beyond the thrill of the match, it provided Lancers students with a deeper lesson in athleticism and global exposure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Throughout the event, students engaged directly with players and coaches, learning about lacrosse techniques \u2014 from passing and positioning to strategy, coordination, and endurance.
